Lincoln City are among a number of clubs monitoring Dundee starlet Luke Graham ahead of a summer swoop, SportsBoom can reveal.
The talented defender was the source of major interest during the winter window as Championship clubs Portsmouth and QPR chased the 22-year-old’s signature.
Pompey are understood to have seen a deadline-day move, which would have been a club record for the Dark Blues, rebuffed with the Scottish side desperate to hold onto their prized asset.
John Mousinho’s interest ended when their bid was rejected.
However, our sources have been told high-flying League One outfit Lincoln are keen on the youngster as they plot for potential life in the Championship next season.
The Scottish side are understood to want a fee in the region of £2-£2.5million for the talent, capped at Scotland U21 level.
The clubs have a good working relationship with defender Lewis Montsma moving the other way last month.
It is understood Imps' scouts have watched the defender in aciton in recent weeks.
But the Imps will face stiff competition from Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, who have been monitoring the player’s progress ever since he hit the headlines due to heavy interest south of the border earlier this season.
Brentford’s loans’ manager David Langridge was said to be mightily impressed in Graham’s performance at the weekend, but our sources have been told there is no interest from the Bees at the current time with Langridge checking on Tony Yogane’s progress at the club.
Wanted Man
Graham is contracted at Dundee until the summer of 2027 meaning he will have just a year left on his deal come the end of the season, which has led to the vultures circling.
The defender helped Falkirk to promotion from the Scottish Championship last term and has impressed in the top tier this term leading to increased interest in recent months.
