Celtic Plot Shock Summer Return for Falkirk Star Calvin Miller

Celtic are eyeing a potential return for Calvin Miller this summer, after his impressive performances for Falkirk. The winger, a former academy product, has been a standout star for the club, attracting interest from Parkhead bosses. Miller could be set for a return to Celtic, where he previously made five appearances before moving on to other clubs in Scotland and England.

Celtic are plotting a potential return for Calvin Miller this summer, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The wing wizard, an academy product at the Scottish giants, has been one of Falkirk’s standout stars this term, scoring four goals and providing seven assists during the club’s fine campaign, their first at the level since being relegated in 2010.

And that has put the 28-year-old firmly on Celtic’s radar heading into the final months of the current campaign.

Miller will have a year left on his contract at the Falkirk Stadium at the end of the campaign, putting Parkhead bosses on red alert to pounce on one of John McGlynn’s stars.

Former Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew claims the club were poised to sign him earlier this season, but Falkirk CEO Jamie Swinney said: “There was no contact from Celtic whatsoever, however, that doesn't mean that he wasn't discussed. He might well have been discussed, but certainly from our point of view, there was no contact.”

It was also revealed last week that Celtic are not out of the race for Bodø/Glimt’s UCL hero Kasper Høgh.

Falkirk Favourite

Miller signed for Celtic at the age of 12 and went on to make five professional appearances for the club.

During his time at Parkhead, Miller spent half a season on loan at Dundee in the top flight and the second half of the season at Ayr United in the Scottish Championship.

Following his release from Celtic, he moved to England and had stints in the National League with Harrogate Town, Notts County and Chesterfield FC.

But it failed to work out and he moved back to Scotland with Greenock Morton.

It was a move to Falkirk in 2024 which gave the winger his big break.

He scored nine and ten goals respectively as the club secured back-to-back promotions and he has impressed in the top tier this term and is joint top of the assists list.
