Best Darts Betting Sites in the UK – Top Bookmakers for Darts Odds & Markets

If you bet on darts regularly, you’ll know the difference between a bookmaker that properly covers PDC events and one that just lists the match odds and moves on. The best UKGC-licensed operators go much deeper, with a wider range of markets and in-play options that actually keep up with the match. That’s the difference between a good darts betting site and an average one, and it’s what matters most if you’re betting on the PDC regularly.

Best Darts Betting Sites – Top Picks in the UK

I assessed every operator in this guide against a fixed set of criteria specific to darts betting, such as specialist market depth, live odds reliability during PDC events, withdrawal speed, and bonus terms.

I poured through reviews from OLBG, TalkSport, Racing Post, Oddspedia, and MyBettingSites to cross-reference real user experiences at scale. I also verified every UKGC licence on the Gambling Commission's public register directly before anything else was considered.

What Makes a Great Darts Betting Site?

Picking a darts betting site may seem simple until you're three legs into a live Premier League match, the bet slip has frozen, and the odds you wanted have already moved. This is what separates the top UK darts bookmakers from the mediocre ones:

Market Depth Beyond Match Winner

image.png I pulled up a random Premier League match on Friday, 20th March, between Jonny Clayton and Luke Humphries at Betway and was greeted with over 100 markets - there were total legs, correct score, most 180s, and all kinds of handicap lines!

Live Odds Refresh Speed

Pretty much all UK bookies offer in‑play darts betting, but trust me, the experience between sites can differ greatly. Based on my testing, Betfred sets the standard with live streams for all PDC events, a bet builder, and some of the lowest latency odds I’ve encountered.

Darts Stats Integration

image.png Littler hit a 71% checkout rate against Suljovic at the 2026 World Championship, his best ever by his own admission post-match. If you had had that data popping up while in-play, you could have taken advantage of it and backed Littler to do the business.

I personally recommend Unibet, as it features comprehensive live stats panels that track player averages, leg-by-leg progress, checkout percentages, and scoring trends in real time. These built-in stat widgets allow you to monitor match flow without leaving the platform.

Darts-Specific Promos

Darts isn’t nearly as popular as football, so, unfortunately, many bookies completely ignore it when it comes to bonuses. If you want a huge welcome offer, Betway features a great bet £10 get £40 offer, Midnite runs a weekly free bet club, and LeoVegas is the king of acca boosts with enhanced odds up to 200%.

10 Best Darts Betting Markets Explained

image.png

From what I’ve seen, the average darts match these days features over 100 markets. You can back Littler to go back-to-back at the World Championships, van Veen to overcome a -1.5 handicap, and a whole lot more!

Match Winner

  • How it Works: Pick which player wins the match outright. The most straightforward market with the highest liquidity across all PDC events.
  • Risk Level: Low
  • Example: Luke Littler at 1.65 to beat Gerwyn Price.

Handicap Betting

  • How it Works: One player receives a leg or set head start to level the contest.
  • Risk Level: Medium
  • Example: Michael van Gerwen -3.5 legs at 1.90.

Correct Score

  • How it Works: Predict the exact set or leg scoreline. Higher odds reflect the difficulty of calling a precise margin.
  • Risk Level: High
  • Example: Van Gerwen to win 6-3 at 7.00.

Most 180s

  • How it Works: Guess which player hits more maximum scores during the match.
  • Risk Level: Medium
  • Example: Littler to hit most 180s at 1.75.

Total 180s Over/Under

  • How it Works: Bet on whether combined 180s exceed or fall below a set number. Longer matches naturally produce more maximums.
  • Risk Level: Medium
  • Example: Over 11.5 180s at 1.83.

Highest Checkout

  • How it Works: Predict which player lands the highest finishing score during the match.
  • Risk Level: Medium-High
  • Example: Humphries to hit highest checkout at 1.95.

Next Leg Winner

  • How it Works: In-play market on who wins the immediately upcoming leg.
  • Risk Level: Medium
  • Example: Wright to win next leg at 2.10 mid-visit.

Set Betting

  • How it Works: Predict the exact number of sets each player wins.
  • Risk Level: High
  • Example: Smith to win 4-2 at 6.50.

First Leg Winner

  • How it Works: Bet on who wins the opening leg of the match. Some players consistently win openers at a statistically notable rate.
  • Risk Level: Low-Medium
  • Example: Van Gerwen to win first leg at 1.57.

Tournament Outright

  • How it Works: Back a player to win an entire PDC event before it begins.
  • Risk Level: High
  • Example: Littler to win UK Open at 12.00.

Darts Betting Predictions & Odds – How to Find the Best Value

To unlock the most value, you need to identify the gap between how a player is perceived and how they're actually performing in a given tournament cycle.

The most common mispricing I've found is in night winner and session winner markets during the Premier League. Casual money follows the biggest names by default, which means when a mid-table player is quietly leading the standings through consistent semi-final finishes, their Thursday night odds rarely reflect it.

image.png The 2026 Premier League illustrates this perfectly. Littler (the clear favourite) is priced at 4/6 to win outright, but Humphries has produced the second-highest seasonal average across all competitions in 2026 at 101, yet has accumulated just six points and hasn't reached a single Premier League final.

That disconnect between performance level and results is exactly where mispricing happens. Humphries isn't underperforming but rather has lost close matches. So he’s far closer to Littler than his 5/1 odds suggest and is likely to rack up a series of wins shortly.

For pre-match value specifically, I use three sources before placing anything: Flashscore for head-to-head records, PDC.tv for current averages and checkout percentages, and Oddspedia to compare prices across 25+ operators simultaneously.

The best odds on a specialist market, like most 180s, highest checkout, and leg handicap, can vary by 20-30% between operators on the same match. That gap is free money if you're checking it.

Expert Darts Betting Tips & Strategies

Just like other sports, the data often reveals patterns in darts matches, which you can use to predict match outcomes. This is what I pay special attention to:

  1. Checkout percentage is one of my most exploitable stats. Humphries is averaging around 100, one of the highest on tour, but his doubles conversion has dropped in recent weeks, sometimes sitting in the mid-30s. That gap between scoring average and checkout rate is exactly the kind of inefficiency bookmakers are slow to price into leg handicap markets. I’ve been fading Humphries on tight-leg handicaps until his doubles form improves, regardless of how short he’s priced.

  2. Head-to-head records matter more than rankings in specialist markets. Littler has had the edge over Price in several recent encounters, winning nine of their last 10 matchups. When these two meet, markets like most 180s and match winner often lag behind the actual dominance.

  3. Track 180s leaders week by week before betting most 180s markets. Van Gerwen, Littler, Humphries, and Price have all topped weekly 180 counts at different points in the season.

  4. Venue patterns are predictive, and few exploit them. Price has historically performed well in Nottingham, while Humphries went unbeaten there in a past season.

  5. Use Livesport for leg-by-leg data during live sessions as it tracks every leg, checkout, 180, average, and doubles hit in real time during PDC events.

Best Darts Betting Bonuses and Promotions

Most punters judge bonuses by headline size. However, from my direct experience, a £40 offer with restrictive terms can provide less value than a simple £10 free bet with clean conditions.

Welcome Free Bets - Betway

image.png Betway’s welcome package is massive. When I wagered just £10, I scooped £40 worth of free bets!

Early Payout - Betfred

image.pngBetfred’s Premier League Darts promotion is one of the few darts-specific offers. Place a win single on a match, and if your selection lands a 170 checkout, the bet is paid as a winner regardless of the result.

Weekly Free Bet Clubs - Midnite

image.png

Midnite focuses on recurring rewards. I’ve been picking up £5 free bets weekly every time I wager just £5.

Acca Boosts - BetMGM

image.png

BetMGM offers profit boosts on accumulators, reaching up to 200% on large multis. These are most practical during major tournaments when multiple matches run simultaneously.

Terms That Matter

Before claiming any darts bonus, I always check the terms that determine its real value. Wagering requirements determine the number of times you need to bet your bonus before you can withdraw it. Minimum odds set the lowest price each qualifying bet must meet.

Expiry periods are typically seven days from when the bonus is credited, not when you place the qualifying bet. Most free bets are stake-not-returned, so only the profit is paid if the bet wins.

Responsible Gambling

Darts betting should enhance the viewing experience but not fund your lifestyle. Only ever stake what you can afford to lose.

All UKGC-licensed darts betting sites are required to provide tools such as deposit, loss, and time limits. Remember to never chase losses because that’s the moment recreational betting can turn into a problem. The market doesn’t care about your last leg, and neither should your next stake.

If betting stops being fun, reach out to GamCare and BeGambleAware for free and confidential support.

FAQs

Can you bet on darts legally in the UK?

Darts betting is fully legal under the Gambling Act 2005. Every legitimate operator must hold a UKGC licence, which you can verify directly on the UKGC Public Register.

What are the most popular darts betting markets?

Match winner gets the most volume, but most 180s, highest checkout, and leg handicaps are where I hunt for value.

Can I bet on darts live?

Yes, and the window immediately after a leg ends, before bookmakers fully reprice, is where value appears. Markets like leg handicaps and next leg winner shift quickly, so have your bet slip ready before a leg concludes.

Are darts betting sites available on mobile?

Yes. Betway and Betfred both handle live PDC markets smoothly with minimal bet slip lag and feature live streams, odds boosts, and special free bet offers.
