Chelsea are looking for a Football League loan move for youngster Harrison Murray-Campbell, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The talented teenager has been in the club’s renowned academy since U8 level.

And our sources have been told the Blues’ bosses are eying up a move to get the promising versatile defender regular minutes in professional football in the lower leagues as he continues his rise in the game.

Our sources understand Chelsea are contemplating their options as they carefully make their choice.

There will be a number of potential suitors happy to take Chelsea's latest upstart on loan when he becomes available when the window reopens in January.

Leyton Orient, Fleetwood Town, Newport County, Colchester United are all potential destinations.

Murray-Campbell has bags of potential, catching the eye in the U21s, and is looking for the next move to help progress his fledgling career.

Rising Star

Capable of playing anywhere along the back four, the 19-year-old signed his first professional contract at the club in 2023.

He made his first-team debut for the club in the Conference League last year against Shamrock Rovers.

And last month the player, capped by England from U17 to U20 level, penned a two-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge.

It is difficult to stand out in the Chelsea academy, but the player is dreaming of making his mark at the highest level.

He said: “Being here from such a young age and coming up through all the age groups has been an incredible journey. It hasn't always been easy, but through the tough moments and the good ones, I'm thrilled to be extending my stay at the club.”

“Seeing players like Reece [James], Levi [Colwill], Trevoh [Chalobah] and Josh [Acheampong] progress into the men's team is really encouraging. They all came through the Academy, so it shows there’s a clear pathway.”
