February’s SkyBet Championship Player of the Month Femi Azeez is a wanted man heading towards the end of the season, SportsBoom can reveal.
The in demand Millwall winger is having a stellar season and a key reason why the Lions are chasing an automatic promotion spot to the Premier League.
But our sources understand Azeez is set for Premier League football regardless of whether or not Millwall secure a long-awaited promotion.
A host of top flight clubs, including Millwall’s London rivals Crystal Palace, are understood to be tracking the former Reading favourite.
Ipswich Town tried and failed to lure the 24-year-old from the Den during the January transfer window, whilst Bournemouth were also rebuffed in their approach.
And Sunderland, Everton, Leeds and Brighton are also understood to be keeping tabs on the one-time Watford Academy prospect, who dropped into non-league with Wealdstone and Harwell Town before being snapped up by the Royals.

Azeez, a pacy right winger with ability to operate on both flanks, made 89 appearances for Reading after joining the club in 2019. He signed for Millwall in August 2024 for a reported fee of around £1million.
The London born star has scored eight times for Alex Neil’s side this term, including a purple patch of six goals in seven appearances last October and November. His assists have been almost as invaluable.
Millwall are fourth in the table, two points off second and 11 points clear of Southampton who sit one place outside the play-offs. Fans hope last weekend’s defeat by Blackburn is only a blip.
Azeez’s younger brother, Miguel, currently plies his trade with National League strugglers Morecambe having represented England from Under 16 through to Under 20 level.
Femi has no international honours to his name but his career is on an upward trajectory.
He is contracted at Millwall until June 2028 and it would take a hefty bid for this season’s surprise Championship package.
Azeez's ever-growing value could easily rise if Millwall defy the odds and stay the course in the second-tier promotion race.
