West Ham are braced for a war to keep hold of stars Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville this summer, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The Hammers’ key duo have been the catalyst behind an upturn in form in recent weeks as Nuno Espirito Santos’ side have given themselves a shot at survival.

As it stands, they are only in the relegation zone by goal difference and are the form side among the bottom six.

Hammers’ bosses are resigned to losing the pair if they get relegated to the Championship, but are also understood to be worried about the potential they leave regardless of whether or not the club retain their Premier League status.

Our sources have been told there are a number of clubs readying bids for club captain Bowen and former Leeds man Summerville.

Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a double swoop if they can avoid the drop.

Summerville, who has scored all seven of his goals this campaign since the turn of the year, is also on the radar of the likes of Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Meanwhile, Bowen, who has eight league goals and five assists to his name this term, is attracting the attention of a number of the Premier League’s big hitters once again

Huge Summer In East London

Even if Nuno masterminds the Hammers’ survival, losing the duo this summer would leave a glaring hole which would potentially be the catalyst for relegation next season.

Bowen and Summerville would likely both want assurances of a summer rebuild to ensure they are not staring down the barrel of another relegation dogfight next term.

As we saw last summer, player power prevailed in the cases of Alexander Isak and Yoane Wissa, who forced their moves to Liverpool and Newcastle United respectively.
