Back-to-back Premier League Promotions
Marcondes, who was capped from U17 to U21 level by Denmark without fulfilling his international dreams, started his carer at Nordsjælland.
He spent four years in the first team at the club and won the Superliga Player of the Year award at the Danish Football Awards in 2017.
Marcondes moved to Championship Brentford in 2018, but struggled with injuries during his first season at the club.
He went on loan to Midtylland in 2019 and won the Superliga title with the club before returning to the Bees.
Marcondes played a big part in Brentford’s Premier League promotion in the 2020/21 campaign and scored the second goal at Wembley as they beat Swansea City in the play-off final.
After the club earned promotion, Marcondes went on a free transfer to Bournemouth and secured a second successive Premier League promotion.
He had loans at former employers Nordsjælland and Hibernian before moving to Carrow Road in 2024.
Editor's Insight
Three clubs in Europe are keeping an eye on Marcondes because they've appreciated his numbers before the English clubs have taken notice. This disconnect between value and perception is the key to understanding implied probability in betting - and where the value is.
