Fulham will face stiff competition in their quest to sign Arthur Atta this summer, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The Premier League outfit saw a €20million bid for the Udinese midfielder turned down back in January.

But our sources have been told the Cottagers are readying an improved offer for the defensive midfielder once the transfer market reopens at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is impressing during his second campaign at the I Bianconeri under Kosta Runjaić.

Atta is contracted to the Serie A outfit until 2029, but the west London club are ready to test their resolve with a bid in the region of €30million this summer.

The player, who has scored twice and provided three assists in league action so far this season, is currently third on the list of successful dribbles in the Italian top flight this term with only Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz and Como playmaker Nico Paz having more than Atta’s 49.

His performances have caught the attention of a number of sides who have seen him up close and personal this season.

Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli has all been credited with interest in the player back in Italy.

It is understood tying Scott McTominay to a new deal is Napoli’s top priority this summer, but Atta remains on their radar.

Rising Talent

The French talent, who has been capped at U20 level, came through the ranks of AS Saint Jacques, Rennes and Metz in his homeland.

He made his professional debut for Metz in 2022 and was named Man of the Match and helped the club to promotion to Ligue 1 in his maiden campaign.

The club were relegated straight back to Ligue 2 and last season Atta moved to Udinese on loan with an option to buy, which the club triggered at the end of the season.
