Following a challenging stint at Chelsea, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall completed a £25 million move (rising to £28m with add-ons) to Everton in August 2025.

This season, he has emerged as a cornerstone of David Moyes’ side. Having showcased his elite quality in numerous fixtures, the star midfielder emphasised his commitment to the "New Everton" project, stating, "I’m playing the best football of my career."

However, his surging form has whetted the appetite of Premier League giants ahead of the summer window.

Current Standing

Dewsbury-Hall is viewed as more than just a midfielder; he is the face of a rising Everton era coinciding with the new stadium project.

The Everton board and David Moyes categorize the player as "unsellable" in the current climate. Although, an astronomical bid could test the club’s resolve and shake the negotiating table.

Having already seen a massive return on their £25m investment through on-pitch performance, Everton would likely set a starting price of at least £45m–£50 million for any potential summer suitor.

Everton have already identified Pavel Šulc as a key summer target, SportsBoom understands the club could be tempted into a midfield reshuffle should a significant offer arrive.

Interested Clubs and Transfer Whispers

Dewsbury-Hall’s versatility in both the "Number 8" and "Number 10" roles has put him on the radar of top-six contenders seeking squad depth.

Aiming to cement their status in the Champions League places, both Manchester United and Aston Villa are rumoured to be "feeling out" the situation, drawn by the player’s Premier League pedigree and elite stamina metrics.

As of now, no formal "summer transfer bid" has reached the club offices. Discussions remain at the representative level, primarily focused on "project information gathering."

Technical Report

Scouting reports highlight three key pillars of Dewsbury-Hall’s game:

He has tallied 6 goals and 5 assists in the Premier League so far this season, ranking among the league leaders in key pass statistics.

Averaging nearly 90 minutes per game throughout the 2025/26 campaign, he is classified as a "highly consistent investment."

Additionally, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly monitoring the player closely for the England national team's expanded squad, a factor that is significantly driving up his market valuation.

Contractual and Wage Details

The player is tied to Everton until June 30, 2030. This long-term deal gives Everton ultimate leverage in any negotiations.

Currently earning approximately £110,000 per week, it is projected that any move to a rival would require a salary package pushing the £150,000 per week "elite bracket."

Analytical Verdict: Potential Scenarios

If Everton secures European qualification, the most likely outcome is Dewsbury-Hall staying as the "talisman" of their continental campaign.

Should a club like Manchester United or Aston Villa submit a bid exceeding £50 million, Everton’s financial balancing act could force a difficult decision, potentially allowing the player to prove his worth at the highest level of the "Big Six" ladder.

Dewsbury-Hall is currently "untouchable" at Everton. A fan favourite on Merseyside, he is fully focused on driving the club toward Europe. However, the "domino effect" of the summer window could trigger a surprise move at any moment.
