Younes Ebnoutalib is attracting interest all over Europe after his fast start to the season, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The 22-year-old is the leading goalscorer in Bundesliga 2 with nine goals from the first ten games of the campaign.

And SportsBoom sources have been told the SV Elversberg striker is on the radar of a number of clubs in Germany and further afield.

Bundesliga clubs TSG Hoffenheim and Union Berlin are both interested in securing the free scoring Moroccan’s signature.

But clubs in England are also monitoring the hitman's progress at the Waldsadion an der Kaiserlinde.

Ebnoutalib has emerged on the radar of Norwich City after young Croatian striker Ante Crnac was ruled out for the season due to rupturing his ACL.

Ebnoutalib fits the profile the Canaries would be looking for if they decide to dive into the market in January.

Sources close to the German club have told SportsBoom that a number of English clubs have sent scouts to run the rule over the player with interest from Italy and Turkey.

It has been reported that Elversberg, who currently sit third in the Bundesliga 2 title race, would want between €6-€8 million to part with their star striker, who is contracted at the club until 2028.

More clubs are expected to join the race if Ebnoutalib continues to score with the same regularity he has shown already this season.

And that means making a move for him in the January sales might be better than waiting until the end of the season.

Zero to Hero

Ebnoutalib’s rise has been remarkable given the fact he was playing regional football at FC Gießen less than a year ago.

He made just four appearances at the back end of last season to give his a taste of the level.

And he has hit the ground running this term, with his haul of nine goals including a fine hat-trick SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
