Exclusive: QPR Seek Buyers for Out-of-Favour Forward Žan Celar
Queens Park Rangers are seeking a new club for struggling striker Žan Celar. The 26-year-old has failed to impress during his loan in Germany and is now surplus to requirements at QPR. Celar's goal-scoring struggles have seen him offered to teams in Turkey, with a preference for a return to Eastern Europe.

Queens Park Rangers are trying to find suitors for Žan Celar as they try to offload the striker, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
The Slovenian striker was shipped out on loan to Fortuna Dusseldorf in Bundesliga 2 in the summer with the deal including an option to buy.
But our sources have been told QPR bosses are preparing for Celar’s eventual return to the club after failing to impress during his time in Germany so far.
The 26-year-old is yet to get off the mark for the club in seven appearances, with four of those coming off the bench.
Celar is surplus to requirements at Loftus Road after dropping down the pecking order following the arrivals of Richard Kone and Rumarn Burrell in West London in the summer.
It is understood that Celar has been offered to teams in Turkey, but it is believed the player would prefer a return to Eastern Europe.
Polish outfit Pogoń Szczecin and Slovan Bratislava in his homeland were keen on him before he made the switch to Germany in the summer.
Goal Struggles
The now 26-year-old earned himself a move to the Championship following his prolific scoring streak in Switzerland with Lugano.
During his time in the Swiss Super League, Celar bagged 40 league goals in 95 appearances.
Celar moved to West London in 2024 but struggled for goals and finished the season with two goals in 21 games.
He took 19 games to get off the mark, missing a penalty against Stoke City the game before, where he bagged a brace away at Cardiff City.
Celar made his international debut in 2021, but is still searching for a dream first goal for his country after 17 attempts.
