Everton want to see sign Leeds United loan winger Jack Harrison on a permanent deal, but Burnley are also interested, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
Harrison has spent the last two seasons on loan with the Toffees and the Whites are open to offers for the former Manchester City man this summer.
The 28-year-old is valued at around £10million and our sources have learnt he would welcome a third season on Merseyside.
Harrison played 38 games last season for Everton, with 34 of those in the Premier League for David Moyes’ side.
Having fallen down the pecking order at Elland Road, Harrison signed for the Toffees on a season-long loan deal in August 2023.
And after a decent season the two clubs agreed another season-long loan spell, with a potential permanent deal also part of discussions.
The Clarets are also keen to see if they can entice Harrison to Turf Moor, but boss Scott Parker knows he has to trim his squad with a raft of new arrivals in the transfer window.
Harrison, whose contract expires in June 2028, is understood to have a release clause in his contract which would allow him to leave the Yorkshire outfit.
And the club are keen to cash in on a player who does not feature in manager Daniel Farke’s future plans.
In all he has played 73 games for Everton, with 63 of those in the top-flight across the last two seasons.
However, he has only scored five goals – four in the Premier League – a low return for an attacking player, a stat which hasn’t got lost on potential suitors.
NEW SIGNINGS
Everton boss Moyes has already swooped for star striker Thierno Barry this summer in a high-profile £27million deal from Spanish side Villareal.
And the club also moved quickly to trigger an option to sign midfielder Carlos Alcaraz on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell last season.
Moyes is keen to strengthen further, especially with the start of the Premier League quickly approaching.
