Exclusive: Norwich Eye Permanent Move for Callum Doyle Amid Leicester and Sheff Utd Interest
Manchester City and England Under-21 defender, Callum Doyle, is being closely tracked by Leicester City and Sheffield United. However, Norwich City is ready to make a bid for the £8-10 million valued player following a successful loan spell last season. City rejected a £6.5 million bid for Doyle in June, and he has expressed interest in a permanent move to Norwich. Doyle has represented England at various youth levels and is considered a rising talent in the football world.

Manchester City and England Under-21 ace Callum Doyle is wanted by former club Leicester City and Sheffield United, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
But our sources have learnt last season’s loan club Norwich City are lining up a bid to sign the highly sought-after defender on a permanent contract.
Doyle is believed to be valued at between £8-10million and enjoyed a productive loan spell with the Canaries last season.
He played almost every game in the Championship following his season-long loan move in August 2024.
Doyle had previously had loan spells with the Foxes, Coventry City and Sunderland, having started his senior career with City in 2021.
He has represented England at Under-18, 19, 20 and 21 level and the 21-year-old centre-back is tipped for a bright future.
City are understood to have rejected a £6.5million bid for the academy player in June, with a number of other clubs having expressed an interest if he was for sale.
SUCCESSFUL LOAN SPELL
However, Doyle enjoyed his time with the Canaries last term and teased he might return next season having been given the faith to flourish.
"I think a permanent move is the next aim for me," revealed Doyle in an interview towards the end of last season.
"It's my fourth loan now, and I've been all over the country."
"I've got nothing to say bad about this club [Norwich]. I love it. I've loved playing here and at Carrow Road."
“The fans are great, so you never know (about a return). It just depends on what happens in the summer, to be honest."
He added: "I settled in well. The lads greeted me, and they were buzzing to have me. There's a great changing room there. Obviously, there are a few big key players that are moving on, but I think it's more of a family club than the ones that I've been to in the past.”
