Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has told Crystal Palace he would prefer a move in England amid interest from Turkey, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The talented winger, 23, returned from his loan deal at Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor earlier this month.

There is interest from a number of Championship clubs, but our sources understand there are two offers on the table for a return to Turkey.

However, sources close to the player say the south London-born ace wants to remain in England.

Rak-Sakyi impressed during a loan spell at Sheffield United last season, where he scored seven goals as the Blades agonisingly failed in their quest for a Premier League return in the play-off semi-finals.

Chris Wilder was offered the opportunity to be reunited with the winger this window, but despite reports stating the race for his services is between Stoke City and the South Yorkshire out it is understood the Blades are not interested at the current time.

A number of second-tier clubs are vying for the player, who will add pace and creativity to any forward line at the level.

Stoke boss Mark Robins is a huge admirer and wants him for the Potters' promotion push this month, whilst our sources understand Swansea City are pushing hard to add him to the ranks this window.

Swans boss Vitor Matos, who has been nominated for the Manager of the Month Award, is open about his interest.

He said: “Rak-Sakyi is a good player of course. He's someone that had the impact last season with Sheffield United…so of course he's someone really interesting.”

"But yeah, he's one of the names that we keep seeing and monitoring, let's see what will be the next.”

Spanner in the works?

Charlton Athletic could make a late move for Rak-Sakyi.

Nathan Jones has already secured the signing of striker Lyndon Dykes as he bolsters his squad this window.

The winger is a fan favourite at the Addicks, where he was named Player of the Year in the 2022/23 campaign after registering 15 goals and eight assists in League One.
