For Fulham, this fixture presents an opportunity to go toe-to-toe with Spurs, simply for the fact that they will be the fresher of the two teams, giving them the slight advantage to impose themselves. Premier League betting fans can evaluate both teams and find generous odds on the best football betting sites when making their selection ahead of kickoff.

This Premier League fixture takes place in the late evening on Saturday at the spectacular Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s a fascinating study of two distinct philosophies where Tottenham’s aggressive, risk-taking possession game confronts Fulham’s structured, wide-focused attacking style on 29 November 2025.

Tottenham Current Form – LDWLL

Tottenham are committed to an uncompromising attacking system that places extreme demands on the opposition. Their identity is built around the high press, forcing turnovers in the final third that lead to quick-fire chances and fluid attacking moves through their influential central players. They use inverted full-backs, creating overloads to dominate the midfield and aim for swift transitions in attack. When this system works, they are overwhelming at times. Although it also has its downfalls, it provides teams with space to exploit behind the defence due to the high line and fatigue from the relentless pressing.

Tottenham’s form coming into this fixture will raise many eyebrows as they look as if they are finding it difficult to gain momentum, despite the quality they possess. Facing back-to-back defeats against Newcastle and Chelsea put light on their defensive vulnerabilities and lack of cutting edge in the final third, but they found a way to overcome the challenge against FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, which was followed by a draw against Man United and a demoralizing defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby. A win at home is the only outcome to ease the pressure on Thomas Frank and his Spurs.

Key Players To Watch

  • Richarlison: Richarlison may not be the most fascinating striker to feast your eyes on, but he does put defenders under pressure with his aggressive nature and determination in the final third. He has hit a good run of form lately, also contributing to seven goal involvements with five goals and two assists, the most of any Spurs player. The Brazilian has a winning mentality and will be eager to add to his goal tally.
  • Mohammed Kudus: Kudus is an extremely talented player with so much potential. He has been a great signing and one of the most standout players for Spurs thus far. The strength he has to hold onto the ball allows him to drive and go past opponents, showing great skill in tight situations, while having the vision to provide assists and composure to score goals himself.
  • Joao Palhinha: Palhinha is an absolute monster in the heart of the midfield. He thrives in ground duels, using his strength and relentless tackling ability to stop attacking threats as well as win the ball back. While his primary position is to be a defensive midfielder and provide cover for the defensive line, which he does at the highest level, he is also capable of assisting in attack.

Tottenham Team News

Archie Gray (calf) is expected back soon after missing a month out of action. Dominic Solanke (ankle) underwent successful surgery and is working tirelessly on his return and could make a comeback late next month.

Fulham Current Form – WLWDL

Fulham rarely presses high, preferring to settle into a well-drilled mid-block, focusing on solidity without having possession. They are comfortable letting teams dictate play as they wait for the perfect moment to regain control and spring forward in quick transitions. The Cottagers also have the technical ability to build out from the back and are equally comfortable hitting a more direct, long pass when under pressure. Interestingly, Fulham excel in wide areas, utilizing fluid rotations between their full-backs, wingers, and midfielders to create overloads.

In the last five games, Fulham have lost to Newcastle, advanced to the next round in the EFL Cup through a penalty shootout, won at Wolves, then lost against Everton, and defeated the high-flying Sunderland at home. It’s not surprising to see the Cottagers down in the bottom half of the table as these inconsistencies continue to see them throw away points and hold them back from regaining the momentum that saw them compete high up on the table last season. That said, the win against the Black Cats last time out will encourage them to face this challenge with Tottenham head-on, especially after Spurs were humbled by Arsenal.

Key Players To Watch

  • Ryan Sessegnon: Sessegnon will be up against his former team, so the energy levels to prove a point will be high. He has become an important player for Marco Silva, especially in attack. His defensive side of the game is massively improved, but his pace from the wing-back position and the ability to pick out a pass have been valuable to the team going forward.
  • Alex Iwobi: Iwobi is the facilitator who is the most dangerous when having the ball at his feet. He is technically gifted, can make darting runs through midfield with the ball glued to his foot, and makes the game tick with his quality link-up play. His skill enables him to eliminate opponents and has the vision to make purposeful passes to break defensive lines.
  • Emile Smith Rowe: Smith Rowe is the creative spark that initiates attacks and unlocks defences with his vision. He is adept at receiving the ball on the half-spin, has the skill to take opponents on, and brings other players into the game by controlling the tempo of the game. He has great passing range, both short and long, making him a constant threat as an attacking midfielder.

Fulham Team News

Rodrigo Muniz (hamstring) is set to have surgery on his hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out until next season, and Antonee Robertson (knee), who is still working his way back to full fitness, is expected to return next month.

Predicted Line-Up

  2. Fulham: 4-2-3-1
Leno, Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon, Lukic, Berge, King, Wilson, Iwobi, Jimenez.

  1. Halftime/Fulltime (Draw/Tottenham): The Cottagers have found ways to surprise Spurs in past fixtures, but Frank’s men will have enough to secure the victory at home. 17/4 (5.25) with Midnite.

  2. Full-time Winning Margin (Tottenham by 1): With the busy schedule, Spurs will be tested to the final whistle, but have enough quality to overcome the challenge. 14.5 (3.80) with BetMGM.

  3. Time of Last Goal (76-90). This is the time concentration levels drop and defensive errors occur, leaving the door open for either team to snatch a late goal. 21/20 (2.05) with William Hill.

Prediction: Tottenham to win

Tottenham are largely the favourites to win this fixture, especially having home ground advantage. Even though Fulham will look to exploit their high line, Spurs’ relentless attacking volume may overwhelm the Cottagers’ structure, forcing them into costly errors.
