Arsenal Current Form – DDWWW
The middle part of February might have been testing with back-to-back draws against Brentford and Wolves, but Arsenal have since chalked up three wins on the trot, and they have a seven-point cushion at the top of the table.
They may not have always produced the most silky football, but against the likes of Chelsea and Brighton, they have shown the hallmark of champions.
Mind you, the tag of ‘Set Piece FC’ seems rather cruel despite their proficiency from dead-ball situations; however, they need to display more cutting edge in open play.
Against Brighton, the Gunners managed just two shots on target. What is telling is Arsenal have a better win ratio (69%) when William Saliba doesn’t start, and he missed the victory over Brighton.
Key Players To Watch
- Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka’s desire to beat defenders is impressive, as is his ability to flash crosses across the box. The midfielder has found his scoring boots too, netting twice in his past four league appearances. - Declan Rice
A midfield maestro, Declan Rice never seems fazed, and he exudes calmness. With nine goal involvements (four goals and five assists), Rice is a trump card of the Gunners starting XI. - Viktor Gyokeres
Despite his struggles at times, Viktor Gyokeres holds the ball up well, and he has been chipping in with more goals. Four goals in his past six league outings suggest things are starting to click for him.
Arsenal Team News
Apart from Saliba, Martin Odegaard (knee) remains sidelined, but he will be monitored ahead of the Everton game.
Everton Current Form – WLLWW
Everton, following a bit of a slump last month, are getting back to their best. An exhilarating 3-2 win over Newcastle, where they enjoyed an xG (expected goals) rate of 2.13 was followed by a more serene 2-0 victory over Burnley.
David Moyes’ men are starting to feel more comfortable at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, having made the switch from Goodison Park. After surpassing the 40-point mark in 28 games, the Toffees are rediscovering some of their best form from earlier in the season.
Against Arsenal, they’ve often suffered, seeing significantly less of the ball (35% of possession or lower), so they will have to make set-pieces count to upset the league’s pacesetters.
Key Players To Watch
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
A tenacious midfielder with bags of pace, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall gives Everton plenty of width. He’s helped himself to six goals this term, so he’s got a canny knack of popping up in the right places. - Idrissa Gueye
Usually among Everton’s standout performers, Idrissa Gueye dons long trousers, but he’s a smooth operator. He nearly scored a fabulous goal against Burnley from outside the area, but his effort crashed off the crossbar. - Jordan Pickford
Jordan Pickford has kept 10 clean sheets, and he’s pulled off some vital stops to keep Everton in games. He’s also very vocal and commanding in the box.
Everton Team News
Everton have a relatively clean bill of health, so Moyes should be able to put out a strong starting XI.
Predicted Line-Up

Suggested Bets
We’re always on top of the latest odds posted by Premier League bookmakers. Here are our expert tips and predictions for Arsenal vs Everton.
Under 2.5 Goals: This fixture hasn’t been a goal fest, with the Over 2.5 goals line hit just once in the past four meetings. Under 2.5 goals, therefore, seems like a good shout. (1/1 with Spreadex)
Arsenal to Win to Nil: The Gunners have conceded just 22 goals this term, and have the league’s meanest defence. If you like clean sheet markets, this one is worth leaning into. (17/20 with Betway)
Arsenal to Score First Goal and First Goal inside 30 Minutes: The timecast line is always fascinating. Arsenal have broken the deadlock in the past two games within the first 35 minutes, but the price advertised is inviting. (6/5 with William Hill)
Value Bets
Turn informed insights and tips into smarter value bets that maximize your payout.
Arsenal to Win 1-0 Correct Score: Given the Gunners have won two of the past five league clashes by this scoreline, we’re going for a repeat, so give the Correct Score prediction your attention! (19/4 with Bzeebet)
Anytime Scorer – Leandro Trossard: Even though he has fluffed his lines in front of goal recently, Trossard has netted twice against the Toffees in the past, so there could be something in this. (2/1 with BetMGM).
Anytime Assist – Bukayo Saka: While he’s got his act together on the scoring front, Saka is often selfless, and he could add to his three assists this term against Everton. (7/4 with Leovegas)
Prediction: Arsenal to Win
Although Manchester City were breathing down their necks, Arsenal won’t want to let their foot off the accelerator. Everton, of course, are still harbouring European ambitions, but trips to the Emirates have often been unforgiving.
The Gunners have generally lorded it over Everton at the Emirates, and the last time they tasted defeat was nearly five years ago. We don’t see that changing this weekend, so we’re backing a home victory.
