Everton vs Tottenham Preview: Odds, Tips and Prediction

Date: 26 October 2025 Kick Off Time: 16:30 (UK Time) Venue: Hill Dickinson Stadium While the hosts come into this fixture meddling around mid-table, their visitors will be looking at once again breaking into the top six. The impotence the game now brings with it only increases in intensity, and with neither being able to afford sitting back, we could be in for an enticing affair. Everton will know their home fans will want to see them play expansively and take the game to Spurs, but the balancing act for David Moyes’ side is going to be getting forward without leaving themselves overly exposed. High-intensity encounters with attacking intent from both sides require careful analysis for smart Premier League betting decisions

Everton: Current Form – LLDWL

On the face of it, Everton have looked to struggle. However, their home form has for the most part seen them through, and after finding points against both Crystal Palace, West Ham and Aston Villa, losing to Liverpool and Manchester City become far more palatable.

For the Toffees, they need to find a degree of consistency. The Hill Dickinson Stadium has begun to provide that for them, but to see real long-term reward, they will need to begin to improve their tactical discipline and make the most of their counter-attacking nature.

Everton Key Players to Watch

  • Jack Grealish
Grealish has been at Everton on loan this season, and almost instantly made an impact for the Toffees. His creativity, assist-making and attacking prowess has largely aided this Everton side and allowed them to be far more dangerous in front of goal.
  • Lliman Ndiaye
His pace, ability to disrupt defensive structures and aggression in front of goal can make life difficult for Spurs here. He is a player who can change the game for his side and so is worth keeping an eye on.
  • Idrissa Gana Gueye
He is an absolute work horse for the Toffees. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time and while he is able to drive his side further up the pitch, he also brings a composure to their defensive endeavours.

Everton Team News

David Moyes’ side comes into this game having to contend with just a single injury concern. Branthwaite is a doubt due to his hamstring injury, but outside of that, they have a full complement of players to choose from.

Tottenham Hotspur: Current Form WDDWL

Tottenham’s season under Thomas Frank has been a mixture of both promise and frustration so far. They have managed to play some incredible football in certain moments, looking incredibly dangerous going forward and being able to make use of a multi-pronged attacking approach. And yet, with that being said, they have struggled to find a degree of defensive consistency.

Up against an Everton side who will ask questions of them here, Spurs will know that their attacking emphasis is only as valuable as their defensive solidity here.

Tottenham Key Players to Watch

  • Mohammed Kudus
He has continued to be both creative and dynamic for Tottenham. He often provides a spark when they are in possession and plays a vital role through their midfield. He is someone who might play a vital role in unlocking Everton’s defensive system.
  • Micky van de Ven
He has been an incredible strong presence in defence since joining Spurs. His aerial ability is bettered only by his positional play and contributions to changing their defensive system to attack.
  • Rodrigo Bentancur
He has often played as a deeper six option in the midfield for Spurs. His passing and defensive contributions will be pivotal here and so we suggest you keep an eye on him in this encounter.

Tottenham Team News

Tottenham have a relatively extensive injury list ahead of their clash here. Radu Dragusin is sidelined with a cruciate ligament, James Maddison remains a doubt with a knock and so does Yves Bissouma and Dejan Kulusevski.
It will be interesting to see how the manager adopts his approach.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Everton
Pickford; O’Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner; Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto.

  2. Tottenham
Vicario; Porro, Danso, Spence, Van de Ven; Palhinha, Bentancur; Kudus, Simons, Odobert; Tel.

Suggested Bets

  1. Both Teams to Score (BTTS): Both Everton and Tottenham have attacking firepower and defensive insecurity. A bet on both sides finding the net looks plausible – all things considered. 7/10 with Bet UK.

  2. Over 2.5 Goals: Given the attacking nature of both squads and Tottenham’s away goals record, a match with three or more goals could happen. Back the goals market for an alternative to Both Teams to Score. 17/20 with Unibet

  3. Tottenham Draw/Win: With Tottenham’s edge in influential areas and Everton’s home resilience, a “Draw or Tottenham” double chance might offer enough value for punters. 5/10 with Betway.

Value Bets

For those among us hunting big returns.

  1. Anytime Goalscorer – Jack Grealish: His creative influence and set-piece involvement make him a smart anytime scorer pick. 28/10 with Betway.

  2. First Team to Score – Everton: At home, Everton often start strongly and could catch Tottenham off guard early in the match. 17/20 with Betway.

  3. Spurs Win/Draw + Both Teams to Score: Combine these two betting odds for premium value. 3/1 with Unibet.

Prediction: Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals

In terms of ability, this game is likely to be tightly contested. These two teams both need to have a positive showing and come away from the encounter with something to show for it. However, the conversation around goals seems to make the most appeal here. Combining both markets for maximum value seems to make the most sense. Get on.
