Exclusive: Sean Dyche Could Be Next in Line if West Brom Sack Eric Ramsay
Former Burnley manager Sean Dyche could make a quick return to management if West Bromwich Albion sack their current boss, Eric Ramsay, who is under intense pressure after a winless start. Dyche's experience in the Championship could be invaluable for struggling West Brom as they fight to stay in the division.

Sean Dyche could be offered a sooner than expected return to management if West Bromwich Albion call time on new boss Eric Ramsay, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
Just seven games in to his reign as Baggies chief, Ramsay is under intense pressure. The former Manchester United first team coach hasn’t won any of those matches.
And a 3-1 FA Cup defeat to Norwich had some fans chanting for his dismissal.
Dyche was in charge of Nottingham Forest for only 114 days before he was axed after last Thursday’s 0-0 Premier League draw to bottom of the table Wolves.
Champion Return For Dyche?
There is no obvious top flight vacancy that could lead to the former Burnley and Everton chief staying in the top division.
So, he will need to drop down a tier if he wants to remain in the game. And right now West Brom need an experienced fire fighter to preserve their Championship status.
It’s not clear if Ramsay, who returned to England after boosting his reputation with Minnesota United in the Major Soccer League, will be in charge for West Brom’s meeting with current leaders, Coventry City, on Saturday.
But there are real fears at the Hawthorns that West Brom could drop into Skybet League One for the first time since the 1992-1993 campaign.
They are 20th in the table, only two points outside the bottom three and with a worse goal difference than third bottom Leicester.
Dyche knows the Championship inside out, initially at Watford and then again with Burnley, twice helping the Clarets to promotion.
Right now, West Brom can only dream of getting back into the Premier League for the first time since 2021.
Despite his glowing reputation 34-year-old Ramsay, who succeeded Ryan Mason, has made the same underwhelming impact as that suffered at Celtic by one-time MLS rival, Wilfried Nancy. The Scottish giants axed Nancy after only eight games.
