Luke Littler Backs Best Mate Angry Ginge to Shine in the ‘I’m a Celeb’ Jungle
Luke Littler is backing his close friend and social media star Morgan “Angry Ginge” Burtwistle to shine on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! The reigning world darts champion, unbeaten in his Grand Slam title defence so far, revealed he’s known about the jungle stint for months — and joked he’d join the show himself “for the right price.”

Reigning world champion Luke Littler couldn’t have scripted a better start to his 2025 Grand Slam of Darts title defence, storming through the group stage in Wolverhampton with three wins from three against Karel Sedláček, Connor Scutt, and Daryl Gurney.
But while his focus remains firmly on the oche this week, Littler will also be keeping an eye on one of his closest friends away from darts, social media star Morgan Burtwistle, better known as Angry Ginge, who has been confirmed as one of the contestants in this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Littler Knew Angry Ginge’s Secret
The new series kicks off this Sunday, marking Angry Ginge’s jungle debut. Littler, however, will be hoping he's competing in the Grand Slam final at the same time. This weekend presents a dual spectacle of high-stakes competition and unpredictable entertainment, the kind of thrilling convergence of events often featured on the biggest casino sites UK.
Speaking after his third and final group stage victory over Gurney, the 18-year-old revealed that he’s known about his friend’s jungle adventure for some time and can’t wait to see him on screen.
“I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time.”
Littler also didn’t hesitate when asked which of the show’s infamous trials he most wants to see Burtwistle tackle, the dreaded eating challenge.
“We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”
Littler to Take on the Jungle?
And could Littler himself ever follow his mate into the jungle? His tongue-in-cheek response “If they come around for the right price” has already sparked light-hearted speculation. Such a surprising celebrity rumor is exactly the type of novelty market that new UK betting sites love to quickly create odds on to capture public interest.
With the world champion chasing more silverware and his best mate facing snakes and creepy crawlies, it promises to be a big week for both sides of this unlikely friendship.
