I heard about a cool sportsbook and daily fantasy site called FanTeam, so I had to check it out! The site stood out to me for its range of almost 30 sports, a handy iOS app, and the chance to bag a sweet bonus in the form of £30 in free bets.
So, is FanTeam sportsbook legit? What are the odds like? Are there any promotions? Let’s get right into my FanTeam sports review for 2026.

FanTeam Sportsbook: Key Features
FanTeam has some decent sports betting features (for example, cash out on some bets) and a mobile app for iOS [1], but sadly, it can’t measure up with the best casino sites in the UK, because there are no casino games.
FanTeam Sportsbook Review: Pros & Cons
Pros

Live streaming available for selected events
Betting available on some niche sports
Instant withdrawals with bank cards and e-wallets
Cons
No slots, live dealer, or instant games
Very limited range of promotions
No app available for Android
FanTeam Sportsbook Bonuses & Promotions
I have to admit that I was disappointed with the promotions when I did my FanTeam Sportsbook review. There’s no dedicated section on the site for bonuses, so they’re quite sporadic.
Does FanTeam Sportsbook Have a Welcome Bonus?
While there aren’t many FanTeam promotions, at least you’ll get a welcome offer, and there’s no bonus code needed. The bonus gives you £30 in free bets and £10 in fantasy sports tickets when you spend just £10. Immediately after your qualifying bet has been settled, you’ll get a £5 single bet, a £5 in-play bet, and £2 in free tickets. The rest comes in two more batches, one after 24 hours and one after 48 hours [2].

FanTeam Sportsbook VIP Club & Loyalty Program – How It Works
FanTeam has a program called Achievements, rather than a standard loyalty offering or VIP program. It’s based on milestones, for example, making your first deposit, or finishing in a certain place in a fantasy tournament [3]. I checked with support, and they let me know that there are no specific rewards for hitting achievements, though, which seems odd.
Product Features
FanTeam has thousands of sports betting markets, and the fantasy offering is a standout feature of this online gambling site. On the downside, there are no slot games, live dealer games, or virtual table games.

FanTeam Sportsbook Features
FanTeam Sports Betting Promotions
The simple answer is yes: the FanTeam online sportsbook does have promotions, but they’re hard to come by. I couldn’t see any (besides the welcome bonus) when I logged in, so I checked with live chat to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. They let me know that while they do have promos occasionally (like small free bets, but no rakeback and cashback promos), they’re sent directly to specific accounts. There are also a couple of odds boosts here and there.
Unfortunately, FanTeam’s limited range of offers can’t compare with what’s available at other online betting sites in the UK, and remember, there’s no casino section, so you won’t get any free spins or deposit match bonuses.
FanTeam Sports Markets, Odds & Live Betting
There’s a lot to like about the FanTeam sports user experience. Personally, I was a big fan of the wide range of different sports and markets. I was happy to see different e-sports like e-football, although I didn’t get into a full FanTeam e-sports betting review [4]. Plus, all of the usual suspects are here, like football, golf, and snooker betting. Live streaming on certain events also stood out as a highlight for me.

Betting Markets at FanTeam Sportsbook – From Popular Leagues to Niche Sports
FanTeam really goes beyond the standard betting markets that you’ll usually find at gambling sites. I counted almost 30 different sports to bet on [6], including all of the major ones like:
- Football
- Basketball
- Tennis
- Golf
- Cricket
- Darts
- RugbyAmerican football
- Cycling
I also noticed some more niche sports like pesapallo and floorball, as well as e-sports and special markets like Eurovision [4].
Popular leagues like the NBA, NHL, MLB, La Liga, Champions League, and Premier League are all available to bet on. One area where FanTeam falls down is the lack of horse racing. It’s one of the UK’s most popular sports to bet on, so it’s a serious miss.
I was pleased to see that some sports have more than just standard match result markets. Here are a few of my top markets to try out on the various sports [4].
| Sport | Betting Markets |
|---|---|
| Football | Draw, handicap full time result, exact goals, multigoals, both teams to score |
| Baseball | Winning margin, race to 5 runs, total, when will the match be decided |
| Ice Hockey | Highest scoring period, last goal, will there be overtime |
FanTeam Sports Betting Odds – How Competitive Are They?
I took a quick look at how the odds on some major events (the Premier League, to be specific) match up against other sites. FanTeam actually offers more favourable odds on some markets when compared with the likes of BetMGM [5], and in general, they’re quite similar to Betway[6] .
FanTeam offers some decent odds boosts. For example, when I did my review, I could get boosted odds of 13/4 (standard odds were 12/5) on both Harry Kane and Michael Olise to score in the clash between Bayern Munich and PSG.
You can swap between decimal, fractional, and American odds within your settings, and it only takes a second to make the switch.
Live Betting & Streaming – Real-Time Action, Cashouts & Odds Updates
I had a look at the live betting options as part of my FanTeam sports review, and I was pleased to see that there are plenty of in-play betting markets on sports like football, table tennis, tennis, e-football, and e-basketball [7]. You can even bet on cricket live from around the world. I always take streaming as a bonus, not as a given. I would have been happy enough with a visualizer, so I was impressed to see that some sports (like tennis) feature live streaming for sports betting.

I wasn’t able to see a cash-out feature on any of my bets, but I checked with customer support, and it is offered sometimes. When cash out is available, you’ll be able to see it directly on your bet slip.
Betting Limits & High-FanTeam Sportsbook Wagering – What Are the Minimum & Maximum FanTeam?
The lowest possible minimum stake I could see at FanTeam was £0.05, which is pretty budget-friendly. The maximum depends on the sport, the market, and any specific restrictions on your account, but I couldn’t see one overall limit.
I noticed that the maximum amount you can win from a single bet slip is £30,000 [8]. I’ve certainly seen gambling sites with higher win limits, but £30,000 isn’t bad.
Before you even start wagering, it’s a good idea to set your own betting limits, for example, by restricting your daily or weekly deposits. You can also take a time out or self-exclude easily via your account section if you need to.
Is FanTeam Sportsbook Worth It?
If my FanTeam sportsbook review taught me anything, it’s that this site is definitely worth a go. Although the absence of horse racing and the lack of generous promos made me deduct a few points, the range of markets on top sports like football and tennis earns it my stamp of approval. Put simply, if you’re a keen horse racing punter, give FanTeam a skip, but it’s a good experience for anyone else.

Review of FanTeam Sportsbook User Experience & Interface Design
The FanTeam site layout and design are quite standard: almost a copy and paste of other Scout Gaming sites. Nonetheless, the loading times are quick (even if you’re streaming a match) and on desktop, there’s both a search bar and a list of sports down the side of the screen, making it easy to browse. I also liked how the day’s boosts are shown right at the top of the screen, so you can’t miss them.
FanTeam Mobile Experience
Let’s not beat around the bush: the FanTeam mobile site doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it works well. The layout is similar to any other decent sportsbook I’ve seen recently, although I’d like to see a much more obvious way to search for particular sports and markets, rather than scrolling for ages.

There’s a FanTeam casino mobile app for iOS (but for Android, you’ll have to stick to the mobile site). The site has an active player community, so I was surprised to see that there aren’t enough reviews yet to show a rating [9]. Here’s how to get it:
- Go to the App Store
- Search for FanTeam
- Make sure you’re running iOS 14 or later, and download the app
FanTeam Sportsbook Desktop vs. Mobile – What’s Different?
I always prefer mobile apps over desktop-based gambling sites, because they’re just so much more convenient. I tested the FanTeam app on iOS, and I found it to be a much easier experience than the desktop site, because it’s not quite as busy - the homepage on the desktop site, on the other hand, is absolutely packed.
Customer Support
I needed to check a few things with support (like how long withdrawals take), so I got straight onto live chat. I was surprised to see how quickly I got an answer. The agent was very helpful, and the tone was relaxed, so I actually felt like I was chatting with a friend. The FAQs section was a little bit light for my liking, so I’d like to see that expanded, or perhaps the addition of a FanTeam community forum.

Deposit & Withdrawal Methods at FanTeam
There’s a good range of FanTeam deposit methods for players here in the UK, including all of the usual ones like bank cards, PayPal, and bank transfers [10]. Although cryptocurrency deposits are not available.
The best bit? All FanTeam withdrawal methods are instant, unless you’ve decided to use a bank transfer for some reason. There are no withdrawal limits in the UK [11].
The only downside for me is that there are some fees, but they only kick in after your third withdrawal of the month [11].

Responsible Betting
While online betting is fun, it’s also important to make sure that you’re always practising responsible gambling. I was pleased to see that FanTeam asked me to set limits before I even finished signing up, plus I could head to my account section at any time to change my limits, take a break, or even self-exclude [12].
Final Verdict – Is FanTeam the Right Choice for You?
Overall, I had a very positive experience at FanTeam sports. Deposits and withdrawals are quick and easy, there are plenty of sports to choose from, including some unique options, and the FanTeam sportsbook security features are strong. The absence of a no deposit bonus (or indeed any offers besides the welcome promo and some boosted odds) is a bit of a downer, but it’s not enough to put me off the site entirely.
