David Moyes welcomes his former side to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in a Premier League clash that is set to be an end-to-end clash. Graham Potter is under pressure after a poor start to the season and will expect a reaction from his side as they travel to face the Toffees.
The home side narrowly lost to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby last week, while the Hammers were put to the sword at home to Crystal Palace.

Key Players to Watch

  • Iliman Ndiaye
The Senegalese international is a joy to watch. Ndiaye is technically secure and has contributed three goals and assists combined in his five appearances for the Toffees.
  • Idrissa Gueye
Gueye is a hard-running midfielder who is a key part of the midfield for Moyes. The experienced 35-year-old breaks down play well in the middle of the park.
  • Thierno Barry
The new recruit for Everton looks like a real gem. Barry is a 22-year-old French striker who can score goals and link play at the top of the pitch.

Everton Team News

Jarrad Branthwaite has a hamstring strain and will miss the tie with the Hammers. He is the only injury concern for Moyes’ side, who will want to bounce back from that Merseyside derby defeat last weekend.

West Ham United Current Form – LLWLL

Potter’s side is under pressure, and we are only five games into the new Premier League season. It seems the poor form from last season has continued and it has left the London-based club with just one victory in that period.

Key Players to watch

Lucas Paqueta
The Brazilian international is one of the most skilful players in the division. Paqueta never gives the ball away, and he has extremely high football intelligence which makes him a joy to watch.
Jarrod Bowen
The Hammers captain has been taking responsibility in a team struggling for form. Bowen has registered two goals in five games.
James Ward-Prowse
The Englishman has a wand of a right foot on him, and his set-piece deliveries are a key weapon for Potter’s side.

West Ham United Team News

Aaron Wan Bissaka has a stomach bug, but the former Manchester United right-back should recover in time for a crunch fixture on Merseyside, and Potter will need all his players fit for the tie.
