Luke Littler Reveals What’s Next as Teen Sensation Eyes Total Domination

Luke Littler has made history by defending his PDC World Darts Championship crown at just 18. After a dominant 7-1 final win over Gian van Veen, the teenage sensation reveals his next targets, short-term World Series success and a long-term ambition to dominate every PDC major.

Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler has added yet another staggering achievement to his rapidly growing legacy, becoming just the fourth player in PDC history to successfully defend the PDC World Darts Championship.

Only Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson have previously managed back-to-back world titles, a feat that has even eluded the legendary Michael van Gerwen.

    Records Falling at 18

Already the youngest World Champion in history, Littler has also completed darts’ prestigious Triple Crown, having lifted the Premier League and World Matchplay titles.

His victory in the 2026 World Championship final marked his tenth major PDC title, placing him behind only James Wade, van Gerwen and Taylor on the all-time list. Remarkably, he has already surpassed the major title tallies of Gary Anderson, Peter Wright, and even long-term rival Luke Humphries.

At just 18 years old, Littler’s list of records and accolades is already extraordinary.

    What Comes Next?

After a near-whitewash 7-1 victory over Gian van Veen in the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship final, attention quickly turned to what could possibly motivate a teenager who appears to have already won it all.

Rather than taking time off, Littler is already focused on what lies immediately ahead.

    No Time to Rest

In just over two weeks, Littler will return to action as the World Series of Darts resumes, with the reigning world champion targeting success at the Bahrain Masters, the very first PDC title he ever won.

That will be swiftly followed by the inaugural Saudi Arabia Masters.

“I’ve just got to focus on what’s next. It’s Bahrain, then over to Saudi Arabia,” Littler said.

    The Ultimate Ambition

Beyond short-term targets, Littler’s long-term motivation is clear, total domination.

The teenage sensation has set his sights on a calendar-year clean sweep, aiming to win every PDC major at least once, and ideally all within the same year.

    “I want to dominate everything.”

“I want to try and win everything.”

Entering just his third year on the PDC tour, there are only two major titles missing from Littler’s ever-growing collection, the World Masters, held in Milton Keynes at the end of January, and the European Championship in Germany later in October.

And he has no intention of letting them slip by.

“The Masters, and the Europeans, they’re the two I really want to go for this year. I’ll be hunting them down,” he concluded.
