💡Let us know what you think about Matchbook Deposit Guide

Before you start wagering at a new sports betting site, you should know what payment methods are available. By learning how to deposit at Matchbook, you can start browsing the best sporting events and placing bets within minutes.

We examine the available payment methods, along with their limits, fees, and processing times.

Matchbook Deposit Methods

There are a handful of Matchbook deposit methods, most of which are popular amongst most bettors. The standard methods available are:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Neteller

  • Skrill

Still, the methods may vary based on your jurisdiction, so it’s always best to check the cashier page first.

What to Know When Depositing For the First Time

Players should note that Matchbook betting site has a number of restrictions in place if you don’t verify your account. Unverified accounts won’t have access to the deposit or withdrawal cashier and can’t wager on sports.

That’s why it’s best to fully verify your account within a few hours or days from the date of registration. It helps you avoid any potential Matchbook deposit problem. The information you have to verify is your identity and address.

As such, you can upload the necessary documents, and the support team will verify them as soon as possible. The documents required are:

  • Identity: Driver’s Licence, Passport, or Identification document

  • Address: Bank Statement or Utility bill

Navigate to the Account Verification tab in your profile’s menu to verify your identity. You click on the red “Upload” button for whichever document you want to provide.

Matchbook Deposit Time

The bookmaker doesn’t explicitly state the Matchbook deposit processing time. However, as with most bookies, deposits typically process instantly. Sometimes, the deposit might take a few minutes to show, but generally, it doesn’t take longer than that.

Deposit Fees

While there’s no Matchbook deposit fee mentioned, you should still check your cashier page when depositing. The payment provider might charge some fees, which you want to be aware of. Further, there are other reasons this provider can charge fees.

Typically, fees are only applicable on withdrawals or when using the Matchbook Exchange feature. When setting up a bet for other players, UK bettors will incur a 2% commission rate on the net profits their bet generates.

Bettors from other jurisdictions will incur a 4% commission rate, while enhanced special market bets will always incur a 5% commission rate. As such, while there are no standard fees on deposits, bettors should take note of the Matchbook commission rates before setting up wagers.

Minimum and Maximum Deposit Limits

We examine the maximum and minimum deposit in Matchbook to let you know whether this bookie’s limits fit your bankroll. If you’re a high roller, you’re likely looking for a bookmaker that has a high maximum limit.

Meanwhile, as a casual bettor, you’ll be looking for a low Matchbook minimum deposit amount so you can more finely manage your bankroll.

The betting limits are largely universal, with the casino’s responsible gambling team deciding on the maximum bet limits based on your account activity.

As such, the below limits are the starting amounts, but you can negotiate a higher limit with the Matchbook customer support. We summarized the payment methods and limits below.

What If I Experience Issues While Depositing?

There are several reasons why your deposit might not be going through. We list a few of the common ones you can check out:

  1. Check whether you met the minimum limits. You won’t be able to deposit less than €10, so always meet this limit.
  2. You must verify your personal data. Without verifying your account, you won’t even be able to access the cashier. Luckily, it’s easy to know if this is the issue, as a pop-up will notify you.
  3. Verify your payment method. If you’re using a new payment method, then you might need to verify it first. Otherwise, you’ll see the Matchbook deposit pending for longer than normal.

Unavailable Payment Methods

When looking at how to deposit on Matchbook, we found that popular options like PayPal, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, Payz, and cryptocurrencies aren’t available.

The number of available payment options is slightly limited but offers enough options to satisfy most bettors. However, not all payment methods will always be available in all jurisdictions.
