What Is Immersive Roulette Deluxe?

Immersive Roulette Deluxe is just like regular European Roulette, but done in a totally different way. Pragmatic Play’s version of Evolution's original features a specially designed studio with many video cameras, and it’s filmed in high definition and slow-motion, including slow-motion close-up replays of the final spin of the wheel, showing the ball bounce and spin before landing in the pocket. When I was first introduced to the game, I noticed how different it is to play compared to live roulette at a regular table. The wheel still has one zero and 37 pockets, so the odds of winning are the same; it just looks and feels like I’m watching a TV show rather than being at the casino.

What's different between Immersive Roulette Deluxe vs. regular roulette is not so much about the bonuses or multipliers but about being able to see how it's played as you're playing. I really liked that there was a Zoom camera and a slow-motion replay of the ball's landing during the 18-second betting period. You can clearly see the wheel's spin, and since I prefer it that way, it gives me greater confidence.

When I played Immersive Roulette Deluxe Live, the variance seemed more stable than that of the flashy multi-bet roulette, but you do experience tough runs of luck, especially when you're betting straight up as I did. My recommendation is to set a bankroll limit and avoid the temptation to chase your losses even on the safer even-money bets, as you can still get whacked pretty hard if the wheel turns against you.

This is where many “reviewers” create confusion among players, so I want to make it easy to follow, based on my experience: the “bonus” aspect of Immersive Roulette Deluxe is required only because it comes with a cinematic presentation. 

There are no “bonus rounds”, “bonus pockets”, or “progressive jackpots” for this game, and everything follows classic European Roulette rules. When I placed bets, I couldn't place any extra wagers, and no bonus rounds triggered when certain numbers hit. The payouts were calculated just like in regular Roulette (i.e., straight-up pays 35 to 1, split pays 17 to 1, etc.).

I enjoyed the straightforwardness mainly because of how volatile it is. In games with lots of features, RTP may be influenced by multipliers or jackpots. But, in this case, you'll be able to count on the odds after every spin because they are clearly stated beforehand. I'm totally straightforward with my Immersive Roulette Deluxe reviews; you can't win all the time because the house always has an edge, no matter what type of wagers you place when playing. That being said, there are definitely some habits I have developed over the years that I feel help me keep track of my Immersive Roulette Deluxe sessions a little better.

I generally prefer to begin with even-money bets, such as red or black or odd or even. This way, I can build my bankroll while gradually increasing my bet amounts. I’d generally mix outside type bets with some inside type to get an equal balance of coverage and excitement. Generally speaking, sessions have lasted longer when using lower stakes, from £0.50 to £2.00, rather than trying to chase bigger amounts at the start.

One thing I couldn’t stand seeing, and one thing I totally don’t recommend, is following that aggressive Martingale method of betting.
