What is Bet Stacker Blackjack?
Evolution Gaming’s Bet Stacker Blackjack is played with a real, live dealer, and the aim is to get a hand as close as possible to 21, without going over 21. But this game also comes with a very special “Bonus Element”, which has an extra Bet Stacker fee of 10%.
Once bets have been placed, a Bonus Element with a playing card rank is randomly chosen, along with a monetary value based on a percentage of your original bet (25%, 50%, 75% or 100%). If any of your initial cards match the Bonus Element, that monetary amount is added to your main bet.

The aim of Bet Stacker Blackjack is to get a hand closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand, without going over 21.
The Bonus Element is chosen randomly and could see you getting up to 100% of your stake added to your bet amount, and you’ll also have the opportunity to use side bets.
Here’s how the payouts work:

- Winning hand pays 1:1
- If the dealer has blackjack, insurance pays 2:1
Bet Stacker Blackjack is played with eight decks, and the dealer always stands on a soft 17. Insurance is offered when the dealer shows an Ace, and there is a cashout option which pays 0.4 - 1.77x.
You can double on any two initial cards (and increase by the new wager amount) or split on any cards of the same value, with your new wager.
The Infinite game has two extra side bets, and the Six Card Charlie rule applies, so you’ll automatically win if your hand has six or more cards, but is still under 21.

Classic Live Bet Stacker Blackjack comes with two side bets: 21+3 and Perfect Pairs. The Perfect Pairs side bet gives you the chance to win if your first two cards comprise any pair, while 21+3 wins if your first two cards and the dealer’s upcard comprise a poker-style hand.
The Infinite game also has the Hot 3 side bet on the total of your hand and the dealer’s upcard, and the Bust It side bet, which is essentially a bet that the dealer will go bust.
Side bets have a lower RTP than the main bet, so you should only use them if you’re okay with risking more money.
RTP & House Edge
The RTP for the classic version of Bet Stacker Blackjack comes in at 99.29%, which is in line with other Evolution Gaming tables that are popular here in the UK.
The Infinite table has an even higher RTP at 99.47%. I’ve already mentioned that the RTP of side bets is lower, ranging from 94.12% for Bust It to 95.90% for Perfect Pairs.

There are very few reasons why I wouldn’t recommend Bet Stacker Blackjack. Personally, I enjoy the atmosphere at the classic table, but the Infinite version is also great for a few quick games. One thing to remember is the extra Bet Stacker fee, but it’s so small at 10% that it shouldn’t really put you off playing at all. The unfortunate thing about live casino games like this one is that you can’t really play demos with free credits, but you can always open up the table and observe for a little while before you start playing for cash.
