As West Bromwich Albion, one of the established teams of the English Championship, pushes for the Premier League gates with a consistent performance this season, one name in the team's "engine room" is drawing all the attention: Isaac Price.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has also become indispensable for the Northern Ireland National Team, is considered one of those rare talents who combines the "box-to-box" qualities sought by modern football with high technical capacity.
"Future Plan or Financial Opportunity?"
The West Bromwich Albion management views Price, whom they brought into the squad from Standard Liège in January 2025, as the club's most successful transfer move in recent years.
However, like every rising asset, Price's future is directly tied to the equation of whether the club can achieve promotion to the Premier League.
On paper, the West Brom management has placed Price at the very top of the "unsellable" list. Specifically, the technical staff has no intention of giving up the player's leadership qualities on the pitch and his efficiency in both directions of the game.
According to market data updated as of March 2026, Isaac Price's value has skyrocketed to the level of €10 million.
It is stated that West Bromwich accepts this figure as a "starting point" and would open the door for a potential sale in the €20 million to €25 million bracket.
The player's long-term contract, which continues until 2029, allows the club to play "hardball" at the negotiating table.
West Brom may need a significant cash injection due to financial sustainability rules. If the team remains in the Championship, the sale of Price would create a massive budget for the club to make four to five key transfers.
The management keeps the strategy on the table to spread this money across the squad to build a more balanced team for a championship run.
Interested Clubs
Price’s technical recital on the pitch and his never-ending energy have mobilised established Premier League sides.
Everton is lying in wait to bring back their former academy player. Known for lacking dynamism in midfield, the Merseyside club is identified as one of the most serious candidates to add Price to their squad. Leaked information suggests Everton is preparing an offer for the player themed around a "homecoming."
Additionally, London representative Fulham finds Price’s distribution ability and skills in tight spaces perfectly compatible with Marco Silva’s system. Fulham is expected to knock on West Brom's door as soon as the season ends with a package containing €12 million plus performance bonuses for Price. Fulham have maintained a strong scouting presence across the Championship this season, as Stoke City winger Sorba Thomas is also understood to be high on their recruitment agenda.
Likewise, It is stated that Crystal Palace and newly promoted sides are also keeping Price on their tracking list as part of a "rejuvenation operation."
Contract Details and Wage Expectations
Price’s current contract continues until June 30, 2029. This long-term contract explains why the club is so comfortable at the bargaining table and how they play the role of the "stubborn seller" so well. The absence of any release clause in the contract ensures all the strings remain in the hands of the West Brom management.
Currently earning approximately £12,000 per week, it is claimed that Price expects this figure to at least triple in the event of a transfer to the Premier League.
