Union SG Midfield Star Adem Zorgane Emerges on Radar of Multiple English Clubs

An influential scouting team from the Isles has launched a full-scale offensive in Belgium to track Adem Zorgane, the midfield "dynamo" for Union SG, who are currently fighting for the title in the Pro League. 

At 26, the player is being scouted not just as a prospect, but as a "finished product" thanks to his maturity and high football IQ.

Performance Tracking

English clubs have been monitoring Zorgane closely, attending the matches against Dender and St. Truiden to see him in action. 

It has been learned that scouts from Ipswich Town, Southampton, and Middlesbrough, all fighting for a Premier League promotion, have prepared special reports. 

Specifically, Southampton needs a profile to manage their transition play in midfield, and Zorgane is seen as a perfect tactical fit.

Playing the full 90 minutes against St. Truiden, Zorgane finished with a pass accuracy of over 85%. He received high marks for his key role in defensive-to-offensive transitions. His high-pressing energy across every blade of grass has brought a fresh breath to the modern "box-to-box" midfielder definition.

Technical and Physical Analysis

His greatest strength is staying calm under pressure and finding the right pass. The speed at which he distributes the ball from the back to the wings or behind the strikers is what impressed the Premier League scouts the most.

Standing at 1.84m, the player draws attention with his resilience in duels and aggressiveness in winning second balls. He received top marks for his ability to adapt to the high tempo and physical intensity of English football.

Club Stance: USG’s Strategic Position

While the Union Saint-Gilloise management views him as a "star player," they are being realistic. 

By signing him to a long-term contract until June 30, 2029, last summer, the club has put itself in a strong "determined seller" position. 

Behind closed doors, the President suggests they will sit at the table if an "irrefutable offer" arrives.

Preparing for a potential sale, they have already started scouting similar profiles in the Algerian and French markets. Due to their healthy finances, there is no pressure for a fire sale.

Zorgane is not the only Union SG player attracting attention, with teammate Promise David also emerging on the radar of English clubs, as West Ham, Everton and Leeds United are all understood to be tracking the forward’s progress.

Valuation and Financial Details

While his market value is around €10M, USG is expected to open negotiations in the €20–25M range. Considering the revenues of clubs promoted to the Premier League, this figure is seen as reasonable.

It is known that his current salary could triple or quadruple upon a move to England.
