Having risen through the Club Brugge academy to establish himself in the first team and secure a starting spot in short order, Joaquin Seys continues his dominant play in the Belgian Pro League. 

Offering a blend of the pace, technical proficiency, and defensive discipline expected of a modern full-back, English clubs have already opened a "file" on the young player.

Performance Under Observation

Premier League scouts wishing to examine Seys’ performance on-site took a close look at Club Brugge’s league fixtures against Westerlo and Mechelen. 

It has been learned that observers from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Aston Villa, seeking to rejuvenate their defensive lines and add dynamism, were in the stands for these matches and took highly positive notes on Seys. 

Specifically, it is noted that Arsenal finds the player’s ability to operate as both a left and right-back extremely valuable in terms of "tactical flexibility."

Remaining on the pitch for 90 minutes in the Mechelen match, Seys provided 1 assist and played with a 82% pass accuracy, while against Mechelen, he was one of the players who determined the fate of the match with critical defensive interventions. 

Standing at 1.78m, the player’s physical resistance to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League and the attacking support provided by his explosive pace were characterised in scouting reports as "elite-level potential."

Club Approach: Brugge’s "Golden" Boy

The Club Brugge hierarchy views Joaquin Seys as one of the club's greatest future sales successes. 

The club is not particularly keen on parting with the player just yet this summer. Seys is under contract with the club until June 30, 2029. 

However, should Premier League clubs intervene, Brugge is expected to assume the "resolute seller" role and open negotiations at a very high valuation.

The technical staff wants Seys to remain with the team for another season to complete his development and gain Champions League experience. However, the club's financial structure could force the management to change its decision in the face of an astronomical offer.

Valuation and Bid Preparations

With Seys’ market value rising rapidly, it is rumored that Club Brugge will open negotiations in the €30–€35 million range. English giants are expected to view the player’s potential as an "early investment" and establish initial official contact at the start of the summer transfer window.

Official statements from the club indicate that they are currently focused solely on the player's development. 

At the representative level, it is claimed that Arsenal and Aston Villa have already inquired about the player’s terms.
